One New Year's Resolution, Already Shot to Hell

Here it is, three weeks into the new year, and I've already blown it. One of my (very few) New Year's Resolutions was to make a valiant attempt to blog more frequently. See, I have a tendency to start things, and a lesser inclination to finish them. I have what seems like dozens of blog posts started which remain unposted because they aren't…quite…perfect. [Please note, Dear Reader, that this does not imply that I believe I can ever actually achieve perfection, mind you--but I can't seem to accept that….]

So, in truth, the real NY's Resolution is to be less self-critical and just post often, with less stress and, well, thought. This seemed like a sound plan, and really, I swear, I was this || close to actually posting something I've been working on for a while....

And then Joi had to go and do this.
This is the antithesis of helpful for people like me. (And as unique as I wish to believe myself to be, I can't believe I'm the only one.) I'm know I could spend time improving my writing skills, but in all honesty, I don't think that's my biggest problem at the moment. Actually writing is what I need to do…once I can get myself posting regularly, I can work on style.

So, Joi…bite me.
